Up in the Air!
Recently, a new dimension has been added to photography by the use of an aerial drone. This provides a platform which has complete flexibility whether for still or video work. It can be used for such tasks as getting above obstacles in difficult to reach locations or in order to get at the action such as events or for more mundane jobs like roof inspections for maintenance or planning purposes. Real estate coverage of properties can be enhanced by still aerial photographs or ‘fly around’ videos not only of a property itself but also its immediate environment.
Drone photography has revolutionalised the way in which tasks can be tackled and is extremely cost-effective being achieved for a minimum hourly outlay with high resolution results being made available in a very short time.
Owners and Drones need to be registered with the Civil Aviation Authority in most cases in the UK if they are to be engaged in commercial work.
